About Fruit Battlegrounds:
I want to recommend this game (and initially I did), but considering there are no modes like the original ones and no game play that doesn’t restrict your playing with a 30-60 second timer I can’t. The new archery mode is cool but in that, like all the other modes, you will play for around a minute, get a grade and then you will either have to restart the same level with the same slicing patterns, or move on to the next level. I would estimate the game takes around 1,5h to fully complete (since I’m almost there at 1h), and while you get used to it fairly quickly, the controls are confusing and frustrating. TL;DR: It’s in Early Access, but unless they add endless modes I wouldn’t recommend buying it. Which the developers stated that they won’t because these modes are in the game’s predecessor, for an additional €15. This game doesn’t compare to the first game in a bad way. In order to unlock the abilty to use swords you need to complete 10 missions with a terrible bow. The bow gameplay its self is terrible but the sword gameplay must redeem it, right? The answer is no, the game is overall slower and much easier. This game is terrible and boring. 1/10
